WP-Theme: NightLight 1.0
Mein 2. Versuch. Diesmal gleich doppelt, in zwei Farbvarianten. Das Theme ist 2-spaltig mit fester Breite. Die Sidebar ist rechts.
Variante 1 (BP-NightLight-01) ist in warmen Braun-Tönen gehalten. Bilder erhalten einen dezenten weißen Rand. Zum Theme gehört ein individuell gefertigtes Icon-Set, dass die Übersichtlichkeit erhöht und das Theme „wertiger“ erscheinen lässt. Der Seitenhintergrund wird mit einem dezenten Muster gefüllt. Wie schon beim BP-News-Theme ist auch dieses Theme unter der Creativ-Commons-Lizenz veröffentlicht.
Variante 2 (BP-NightLight-02) ist in kräftigen Rot- und Blau-Tönen gehalten. Diese Variante benutzt das gleich Icon-Set. Durch die kräftigeren Farben wirkt es frecher als die braune Variante.
Über Anregungen und Fehler-Meldungen in den Kommentaren würde ich mich freuen. Ebenso über eine kurze Mitteilung, wo Ihr das Theme einsetzt (Link).

Nur mal so als Tipp: Kicke die Thumbs.db aus den Archiven!
Erstens kann niemand damit was anfangen, zweitens bläht es das Archiv unnötig auf und es macht auf den Upload des Themes insgesamt langsamer.

Ein schönes Theme. Ich wollte, weil es mir so gut gefällt da nun noch ein weiteres Feld drunter machen in das ich dann diverse Dinge so Widget-Ähnlich einbinde. Also quasi einfach ein Feld in das man diverse HTML-Dinge einbinden kann. Dazu habe ich mir eine Datei namens Applet.php gebastelt und versucht die sidebar.php am Ende einzubinden. Aber richtig sieht es nicht aus.
Ich find aber nicht raus woran das liegt.
Könnte ich mal bitte etwas Hilfe dabei habe? Nachzuschauen ist das ganze bei mir im Blog

Die Sidebar nutzt WordPress-typisch ungeordnete Listen. Die Überschriften der einzelnen Blöcke liegen in der 1. Ebene, die Links dazu in der 2. Ebene.
Das, was Du eingefügt hast, sind Divs und Ps, die kriegen dann natürlich nicht die gleichen Formatierungen. Entweder Du baust auf UL-LI-Konstrukte um, oder Du erweiterst das CSS.
Das mit der CSS-Erweiterung habe ich auch schon probiert, allerdings bekomme ich es trotzdem nicht so ganz hin.
In die Style.css habe ich das eingefügt:

Das kann so auch gar nicht gehen. Deine Applets.php erzeugt eine Ausgabe, die aus DIVs, Ps und As besteht. Deine Formatierungen beziehen sich aber auf ULs. Den Divs, Ps und As wird keine Formatierung zugewiesen, daher sind sie auch nicht formatiert.
Ah….Ich trau mich ja nun kaum zu fragen aber kannst Du mir sagen wo genau ich da was ändern muss?
Oder ich werd mich erstmal in die „Wunderwelt CSS“ einarbeiten und dann weitersehen.

Erstmal vielen Dank für das schöne Theme! Hab allerdings ein kleines Prob: Nicht reproduzierbar verschwinden die Nachrichten schräg nach links aus dem Fenster, also von jeder Zeile immer ein bißchen mehr.
Irgendeine Idee?

Welche WordPress-Version? Welcher Browswer, welche Browser-Version? Hast Du das Problem auch, wenn Du hier auf der Seite mit dem Theme-Switcher das Theme anschaust?
WP, die aktuelle. IE 6 und 7. Hier besteht das Problem nicht. Schau doch bitte selber mal: http://www.notarzt24.org/intim/wordpress
Sieht halt ein bißchen doof aus und – wie gesagt – manchmal wird´s einwandfrei dargestellt.

Der IE verrechnet sich hier nach den Zitaten. Warum er das tut, ist mir schleierhaft, bei allen anderen Browsern gehts. Ich werde das mal ein Wenig untersuchen.

Hi, ich versuche mich gerade an Wordpress, habe da aber einige Probleme. Ich habe mir dein Nightlife Thema geladen und versucht ein wenig anzupassen. Ich habe irgendwie keine Chance mit den Widgets. Ich kann die nicht einmal aktivieren.
Ich habe mir das Wordpress 2.2 gezogen und wollte mit diesem Arbeiten.

Wo Du recht hast, hast Du Recht. Das Theme ist eins meiner älteren, daher ist es nicht Widget-Ready. Und zur Zeit habe ich auch leider keine Zeit, das zu ändern.
Wenn Du das Theme installierst, und dann im Backend auf Themes/Widgets gehst, dann findest Du da einen Link, wie Du das Theme selbst Widget-Ready machen kannst.

Was Du tun kannst? Na, vielleicht erst einmal lesen. Im Kommentar vor Deinem (#17) hab ich geschrieben, das das Theme aus der Zeit von WordPress 2.0 stammt und daher noch nicht Widget-Ready ist. Das kannst Du nachrüsten, ist aber mehr, als ich hier auf die Schnelle erklären kann. Vielleicht noch mal lesen? In dem gleichen Kommentar steht nämlich auch, wie Du das ändern kannst.
das hab ich ja alles versucht und es geht trotzdem nicht.
hab auch keinen link gefunden, da wo du sagst. seh nur sidebar-arrangements.

Wie soll ich Dir helfen? Du erzählst mir nicht, welche WordPress-Version Du benutzt. Du sagst mir nicht, welche Plugins Du nutzt. Du sagst mir nicht, welche Sprache Dein WordPress benutzt. Du schreibst nur, das Widgets nicht gehen. Keine Fehlermeldung, kein Hinweis darauf, was Du gemacht hast.
Hälst DU mich für einen Wahrsager? Da muss ich Dich leider enttäuschen. Wahrsagen kann ich leider nicht.

das sind wirklich klasse Themes auf dieser Seite. Die Variante 1 gefällt mir ehrlich gesagt noch besser, als Variante zwei. Auf meinen paar Seiten habe ich bisher immer selbst rumgefuscht. Leider sieht man das auch. Sobald ich mal wieder eine neue Seite erstelle, werde ich eines Deiner Designs verwenden. Ich halte Dich dann natürlich auf dem Laufenden, wo ich was genutzt habe.

optimal die braunen Töne – für Dämmerung und Nacht ist es optimal, die Farben sind kräftig und warm. Ich werde aber mit den Farben etwas mehr spielen müssen.
mir gefallen die lichter im Hintergrund am besten. Aber die Farben sind auch gut gewählt.

Hallo, ich würde gerne die Unterkategorien ein bisschen einrücken. Wenn ich aber per css children definiere und für die ul einen padding-left-Befehl einfüge verkleinern sich zugleich die Buttons um die entsprechende Pixelzahl.
Ich müsste vermutlich also auf die li’s zu greifen. Wenn ich da aber etwas definiere hab ich das gleiche Problem.
Ich kann zwar einen border-left-Befehl einfügen, aber dann verkürzt der mein Border-bottom vorne um die Pixel die left definiert sind.
