Der Monat der WordPress-Themes: Tag 5 - AbendRot
Irgenwie war ich gestern wohl romantisch. Lag wohl an dem Schweine-Wetter draußen. Ich brauchte was für die Seele, und so entstand das heutige Theme: BlogPimp AbendRot.
Das Theme ist in Rot- und Orange-Tönen gehalten, dreispaltig und basiert wie immer auf der Sandbox. Ganz oben gibt es ein Kopf-Menü für die statischen Seiten mit Link zur Startseite. Natürlich ist auch dieses Theme Widget-Ready, und es ist auch schon mit der WordPress-Version 2.2.1 von Gestern getestet. Alle meine anderen Themes übrigens auch, klappt alles.

Danke erstmal für diese wahnsinns Idee mit dem „Monat der WordPress-Themes“ und für die Arbeit die du dir mit dies doch sehr schönen Themen gemacht hast. Es viel wirklich nicht leicht sich für eins zu entscheiden. Doch wie ich heute so an dem Ausbau meines Blogs war ist mir ein kleiner Bug aufgefallen. Und zwar betrifft er die Navi-Leisten sowohl die top als auch die in der Sidebar. hier hat der Code ein Problem wenn man Unterseiten anlegt. In den Original-Themen von Wordpress ist das auch nur fällt es duch das dortige Design nicht auf. Kannst Dir die Auswirkung ja mal bei mir anschauen.

Danke fürs Lob. Und die gestaffelten Unterseiten sind kein Bug, sondern einfach nicht berücksichtigt. Es gibt mindestens eine Million Sachen, die man mit WordPress machen kann. Und ich habe die berücksichtigt, die man üblicherweise bei einem Blog so sieht. Die übrigen 989.213 hab ich mal außer Acht gelassen.
Das ist kein Fehler, sondern in den meisten Fällen eine bewusste Entscheidung zugunsten des Designs. Wenn Du alle Eventualitäten berücksichtigst, dann gib es so viele Varianten, dass ein ordentliches Design nicht mehr machbar ist.
Siehe z.Bsp. auf Deiner Seite die Kategorien und Archive. Wenn man wie Du die Anzahl der Artikel mit ausgibt, dann erzeugt WordPress einen Code, bei dem die Zahl außerhalb des Links liegt. Wenn man den Link schön formatiert, so wie ich das in den meisten Themes getan haben, dann steht halt die Zahl darunter. Will man die Zahl hinter dem Link haben, dann gehen viele Formatierungen nicht.
Das ist halt so bei Themes, wo man den endgültigen Einsatz nicht kennt. Wenn Du mir den Auftrag erteilst, für Dich ein Theme zu machen, dann sieht es nachher genau so aus, wie Du gewollt hast. Oder ich sage Dir vorher, dass das nicht geht.
Wenn ich aber ein Theme für die Allgemeinheit mache, dann berücksichtige ich das, was die Allgemeinheit so braucht. Da kommen dann die individuellen Wünsche manchmal zu kurz. Nicht weil ich böse oder faul bin, sondern weil ich mich entscheiden muss.
Ist das romantisch.
Die Farben sind nicht so mein Ding.
Die meisten Themes sind aber dafür ein Brüller!
ich denke doch – die Farben passen bestens zu meinen Namibia-Reisebericht – ein vergleichbares Foto habe ich auch -dazu noch einen Sonnenuntergang in Kapstadt – also alles für Wüste und Afrika – bestens geeignet. Ich denke als Hintergrund für meine folgenden Berichte anwendbar.

da muss ich meinem Vorredner recht geben, das passt wirklich sehr gut zu einem Reisebericht! Ich hab mich mit meinem standard template aktuell auch auf eher warme Farben gehalten, aber dieses Template ist wirklich sehr schick anzusehen.
Ein schönes Blog-Template. Ist zwar nun schon ein paar Tage alt, aber dennoch hübsch gestaltet. Allerdings hat sich ja die Wordpress-Gemeinde ein wenig weiterentwickelt. Heißt: die Startseiten sehen eher wie Portale aus. Das finde ich ganz fein. Aber in der Tat – wenn es um Reiseberichte geht, ist die gute alte Blogansicht nicht verkehrt…

.. nun so ungewöhnlich ist das Layout nun auch wieder nicht. Es passt, wenn der Farbton angenehm ist, zur Situation passt (wie hier Wüste/Afrika…) und somit der untere Farbton des Hintergrundes nach unten verlängert werden kann. Ich finde es empfehlenswert und gelungen…
Werde es für einen Reisebericht verwenden – wird noch einige Zeit brauchen, bis es funktioniert , aber es sieht gut aus. Wirklich super. Danke
